UD Blue Hens NCAA Tourney Update

Mar 19, 2014, 3:53 PM EDT

The 2014 men’s #CAAHoops champion Delaware Blue Hens, fresh off finding out their NCAA Second Round pairing versus fourth-seeded Michigan State, flew west on Tuesday to Spokane, Washington for the team’s Thursday evening matchup.

There has already been plenty of in-depth coverage done by the UD athletic department, starting with, of course, numerous tweets and videos documenting the experience.

The first video, seen below, shows the team arriving at the Bob Carpenter Center for a 6:00 a.m. departure, and even catches some shots of team members napping on the flight.

Later, after the ‘Hens arrived in Washington, you can catch head coach Monte Ross discussing the travel day and thoughts on Delaware’s first practice in preparation for the Spartans.

Fans can also check out UD’s stellar “Mission March” Postseason page via bluehens.com to check out photo galleries, a live Twitter ‘Tag Board’ as well as bracket and ticket information.
