#CAAHoops On Campus – In Focus: Back On Beat

Jan 21, 2015, 1:00 PM EST

The #CAAHoops crew concluded its first trip of the new year with more continued on campus coverage, visiting the University of Delaware in Newark, Del., last weekend. This week’s feature highlights the incredible story of Blue Hens senior Tom Allshouse, a nearby Delaware native, who experienced a life threatening, and changing, situation during practice just over one month ago.

We spoke with various members of the UD athletics department, including Tom’s teammate, Eric Carter, head coach, Monte Ross, as well as athletic trainer Paul Lowry. Allshouse’s story is certainly unique to say the least, but the story isn’t the only thing that defines what exactly Tom has meant to the Blue Hens’ men’s basketball program. For more, check out the feature below and stay tuned to caasports.com for more on campus coverage throughout the remainder of the 2014-15 season.
